The Scouts learned valuable information about the roles of veterinarians in public health, as well as the human-animal bond and why it is important.
Troop 3030 is notable for being one of the first BSA troops for girls in the Valley. Troop 3030鈥檚 troop leader is Sasha Willis, M.S.M.L., CVT, Veterinary Technician Supervisor and Internal Medicine Technician at the Companion Animal Clinic. 鈥淭he youth had a great time,鈥 says Ms. Willis. 鈥淲e are strenuously trying to promote strong moral values and citizenship, which is what Scouting has always been about.鈥
